Description
Spun bamboo is created using a technique that is over one thousand years old yet the resulting design is far from old fashioned. In fact, it's a wonderfully contemporary look that adds a touch of style and color to our garden. Spun bamboo is created by shaping thin strips of pliable bamboo around molds and drying them to shape. Pieces are then hand-sanded to a smooth, silky finish and multiple layers of weather-resistant varnish are applied to achieve a hard, glossy finish. Each piece is uniquely elegant, reflecting the textures of bamboo in an attractive spiral pattern.
Please note: Bamboo is a "Natural" product & our chimes are hand made. Small imperfections are common. We will replace any bamboo chime where these affect the overall quality and sound.
